Kasidis Laoboonmee started roasting beans in his home garage in 2016, selling small wholesale orders to neighbourhood cafes. He quit his full-time job in 2019 and spent a year traveling to origins and working free shifts at roasteries before founding RISE COFFEE in 2020.
The RISE LAB micro-roasting programme works directly with northern Thai farming cooperatives, sharing feedback to improve green bean quality. Seasonal single origins rotate through espresso and filter. Orange Wafer Latte, topped with lemon crumble and orange sauce, and Black Fizz, cold brew with specialty cola and lychee purée, are the signatures.
