Krutai Neepan named the shop after a habitable exoplanet discovered by the Kepler space telescope. The 35-square-metre space sits beneath an apartment building on Soi Lasalle 8, divided into two zones: her coffee bar and Manitta Bunyapanuwijit's Rice Room Canteen, which serves Surat Thani Southern Thai curry on classic divided trays.
Interior designer Chanchanit Srisuwannee filled the room with Mid-Century furniture in brown, green, and orange tones. Green marble laminate tabletops, exposed concrete pillars, and terrazzo countertops sit alongside Neepan's photography, vinyl records, and vintage Fire-King mugs. V60 drippers handle the pour-over programme.
